Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Sexual Health Nurse, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in people's lives. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive sexual health services, including testing, counseling, and treatment, to promote well-being and prevent the spread of infections. Your compassionate approach and clinical skills will empower patients to take control of their sexual health in a supportive environment. Duties

Conduct sexual health assessments and provide personalized counseling to patients on topics such as contraception, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and safe practices
Perform clinical procedures including specimen collection, testing for STIs, and administering medications or treatments as prescribed
Educate patients about anatomy, sexual health risks, prevention strategies, and available resources to foster informed decision-making
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored care plans and ensure holistic patient support
Promote awareness through community outreach initiatives and educational sessions on sexual health topics
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed during all clinical procedures

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or community health setting, preferably with a focus on sexual health or reproductive services
Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to reproductive health and sexually transmitted infections
Ability to confidently administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and handle sensitive patient interactions with professionalism and empathy
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and address their concerns with clarity and compassion
Relevant nursing qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse license) with current registration or certification as required by local regulations
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, adhering to healthcare standards, and continuously updating clinical knowledge in sexual health practices
