About EcoDuct
EcoDuct Ltd is a growing UK manufacturer of high-performance pre-insulated ductwork systems, supplying projects across the commercial, healthcare, retail and construction sectors.
As the business continues to grow, we are strengthening our technical and manufacturing team and are looking for an experienced Technical Coordinator with Autodesk CAMduct experience to join us at our Fleetwood facility.
The Role
This is a key technical position sitting between our customers, project drawings and manufacturing team.
You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting ductwork drawings, identifying the information required for manufacture, and accurately inputting ductwork into Autodesk CAMduct ready for production.
The role will also develop into providing technical support to our customers and approved installers, so we're looking for someone who doesn't just know how to use CAMduct, but understands ductwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret mechanical and ductwork drawings.
- Accurately input ductwork systems into Autodesk CAMduct.
- Check dimensions, fittings, connections and project-specific requirements before release to production.
- Identify missing, conflicting or unclear information within drawings and raise technical queries before manufacture.
- Liaise with customers, contractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Work closely with the Production Manager and manufacturing team to ensure information issued to production is accurate and practical.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of site measures.
- Review information returned from site measures and translate this into manufacturing requirements.
- Provide technical assistance to EcoDuct installers and customers, including telephone and WhatsApp support.
- Assist with the development of standard manufacturing details and technical procedures.
- Maintain accurate project and drawing records.
- Help continuously improve the flow of information from drawing through to manufacture.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience using Autodesk CAMduct.
- Good understanding of HVAC ductwork systems.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret mechanical/ductwork drawings.
- Good understanding of ductwork fittings, dimensions and fabrication.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Able to identify potential problems before information reaches production.
- Comfortable communicating with customers, installers and manufacturing teams.
- Good general IT skills.
Desirable:
- Experience within a ductwork manufacturer or contractor.
- Knowledge of DW/144.
- Experience producing or checking ductwork fabrication information.
- Experience with site measures.
- AutoCAD/Revit experience.
- Practical installation or sheet-metal/ductwork manufacturing experience.
- Experience supporting site installation teams.
Why Join EcoDuct?
This is an opportunity to join a growing UK manufacturing business at an exciting stage of its development.
The position isn't intended to remain simply a CAMduct input role. For the right person, there is an opportunity to develop into a broader technical position with responsibility for:
- Technical coordination
- Installer support
- Technical standards
- Drawing approval

- Training
As EcoDuct continues to grow, we want the successful candidate to grow with us and become an important part of our technical team.
