We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join the Tapyard team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining content creation, social media and marketing with event delivery. You will help bring our brands to life through engaging content, memorable events and positive customer experiences.
The successful candidate will be confident creating digital content, comfortable working at busy events and able to represent The Tapyard in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable way.
Key responsibilitiesContent creation and social media
- Create engaging photographs, videos, reels, stories and other content for the Tapyard.
- Plan, write and schedule content across social media platforms.
- Produce promotional content for brewery news, events, food, live music and special offers.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity for each brand.
- Attend events, launches and brewery activities to capture content.
- Monitor messages, comments and customer engagement across social channels.
- Keep up to date with relevant social media trends and suggest new content ideas.
- Support the creation of posters, menus, newsletters and other marketing materials.
- Work with the wider team to maintain an organised content calendar.
- Review content performance and use the results to improve future activity.
Events
- Help promote and deliver brewery, taproom and external events.
- Assist with event preparation, including signage, equipment, stock and promotional materials.
- Support the setup and breakdown of bars, displays and event spaces.
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Serve drinks and operate tills where required.
- Help ensure events run safely, smoothly and on schedule.
- Represent the Tapyard and our brands at festivals, tastings, trade events and community events.
- Build positive working relationships with performers, suppliers, venues and event partners.
- Capture photographs and videos during events for future marketing.
- Be available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when events require it.
About you
You will be:
- Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas.
- Confident using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
- Able to create high-quality photographs and short-form videos.
- A clear and engaging writer with good spelling and attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with customers.
- Highly organised and able to manage several tasks at once.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, flexible and willing to take a hands-on approach.
- Interested in beer, hospitality, food, live music and events.
- Able to understand and maintain the distinct identities of both brewery brands.
- Previous experience in content creation, social media, marketing, hospitality or events.
- Experience using Canva or similar design software.
- Basic photography and video-editing skills.
- Experience scheduling and analysing social media content.
- Bar, cellar or brewery experience.
- Knowledge of Cornwall’s hospitality, tourism, music and events scene.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport.

Additional requirements
This role involves evening and weekend work, periods of standing and some manual handling. The successful candidate must be able to travel to different event locations when required.
