Here at the world renowned Glenfiddich Distillery, we are recruiting for a Sous Chef to assist our Head Chef in delivering exceptional food. Also, to supervise service and operations where delegated, including public outlets, special events and large catering, private dining and VIP housing provisions.
As well as supporting our Head Chef in delivering excellence across all visitor centre operations, the Sous Chef will ensure the highest standards in service and food quality within their own output along with any delegated supervision and development of other chefs. Contribute to the creative design and implementation of new dishes, menus and services.
We are looking for someone with previous experience of working as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP C in a busy, high quality catering establishment. Who has the ability to work under pressure in a busy, fast paced environment whilst maintaining an eye for detail, staying calm and supporting others. Is passionate for continual improvement and possesses the ability to identify opportunities. Has a clear understanding of the requirements of food safety systems, documentation and legislation. And has obtained an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
