About the Role
We're looking for experienced, time-served joiners to carry out general home improvement and renovation works on a price-work basis. This is ongoing work for the right person, covering a steady pipeline of domestic jobs across the West of Scotland.
Work Involved
- Fitting internal and external doors
- Window fitting
- Skirtings and architrave
- Kitchen fitting and installation
- Wall panelling
- General first and second fix carpentry
- Other associated home improvement joinery works as required
Requirements
- Time served joiner with a recognised apprenticeship/qualification
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in domestic joinery
- Own tools (essential)
- Own van – mileage covered
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work independently and manage own time to deliver quality work to price/deadline
- Strong attention to detail and finish quality
- Reliable, professional, and communicative with clients and site contacts
- Self-employed / CIS registered (or willing to register)
- Public liability insurance (or willing to obtain)
- Own transport for tools/materials as required
