HGV Class 1 Driver (Full Time Nightshift)
Freeburn Transport Ltd is a well-established family-run transport company based in Moy, Co. Tyrone. We operate an extensive transport network across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and England, providing reliable and professional logistics services to our customers.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for Full Time Night Shift to join our professional driving team.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks on both the tractor unit and trailer, including refrigeration equipment where applicable.
- Drive safely and responsibly at all times, adhering to speed limits and remaining aware of other road users and pedestrians.
- Follow all relevant driving legislation, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Treat all customer goods and company equipment with care, respect, and professionalism.
- Report any vehicle, operational, or compliance issues promptly to the relevant Compliance Team, or Fleet Maintenance Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers.
- Adhere strictly to drivers' hours regulations, tachograph requirements, and rest period legislation.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Licence.
- Current Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
- Strong understanding of transport safety procedures and compliance requirements.
