Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and personable Salon Assistant to join our vibrant team, it is a part time role but would require working every Saturday. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the beauty and wellness industry, supporting salon operations and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and eager to develop a diverse skill set in a professional environment.

Duties

Greet clients warmly and assist with their enquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Support stylists and beauticians with their daily routines, including preparing workstations and maintaining cleanliness
Manage front desk responsibilities such as appointment scheduling, check-ins, and payments
Assist with store management tasks, including stock organisation and inventory checks
Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the salon
Handle administrative duties efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role or within a salon environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and team members effectively
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
