We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and expanding our presence within the construction industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for growth to contribute significantly to our organisation's success who has proven experience in the construction industry in this type of role for Main Contracting in Construction

Duties

Develop and implement strategic plans to attract new clients and projects within the construction sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs, showcasing our services and capabilities.
Utilise CRM software such as Salesforce to manage leads, track sales activities, and analyse pipeline performance.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the organisation’s services and generate new leads.
Monitor project pipelines and ensure timely follow-up on potential opportunities.

Experience

Proven experience in business development within the construction industry
Demonstrable success in securing new business and expanding client portfolios.
Proficiency in CRM software, particularly Salesforce, alongside other CRM tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and industry standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to analyse market data and develop strategic plans accordingly.
Experience working with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms is highly desirable. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to drive growth within a reputable organisation specialising in construction projects. The successful candidate will possess a strategic outlook combined with excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring sustained business development success.

Pay: £24,599.96-£50,000.00 per year
