We have an exciting opportunity for a support worker to join our dedicated team in Gorseinon, Swansea. In this role, you will support people to build relationships, try new things, and feel part of their community - so that they can live good lives.
You will need to hold a full UK driving license for this role.

About our home
Our home is a friendly service in Gorseinon, supporting three people who enjoy spending time together through activities such as meals out and cinema trips. They also enjoy accessing their local community daily with 1:1 staff support. Their interests include classic cars, steam trains, arts and crafts, shopping, walks, and spotting animals and wildlife. The people we support have a range of personalities, from sociable and chatty to quieter individuals who take time to build relationships. Support focuses on promoting independence, maintaining routines, encouraging community involvement, and providing reassurance and support with daily living as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Support Worker, you will:
Support people to do the things they enjoy, try new experiences, and live good lives.
Assist with household tasks, shopping, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining routines.
Encourage and support people to strengthen relationships with family, friends, and their community.
Work alongside professionals such as social workers, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure people receive the best support.
Listen to the people you support and support them to make choices about their lives.
