Overview
We are a small business providing a powder coating and shot blasting service to the meta work industry.
We are looking to employ a full time experienced Powder Coating Shop Floor Supervisor/Manager to supervise our team of preppers and powder coaters.
The successful candidate needs a minimum of 3 years powder coating experience and some proven supervisory history.
Duties
- Discuss the days work schedule with the director.
- Manage efficiently the work shop floor team ensuring they understand the days schedule.
- Make sure that each job is handled efficiently.
- Inspect all finished work to check it is of an acceptable standard.
- Ensure that finished work is packed properly, safely and with minimum of packaging materials.
- To fully understand the operation of our large box oven and powder coating equipment.
- To understand how to jig up work efficiently.
- Check stocks of powder and advise office to purchase when necessary.
- Maintain periodic checks on equipment and report any deficiencies to management.
- To keep the work shop areas clean and tidy.
Pay: From £16.00 per hour
