About the Role
We are looking for reliable and responsible drivers to join our team in London. We are currently recruiting one full-time driver and 1–2 part-time drivers, with the part-time roles mainly required during September (student arrival peak period).
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing airport transfer services for international students, assisting with luggage, maintaining company vehicles, and supporting daily transport operations.
The part-time driver position offers a competitive rate of £15 per hour**, with flexible working hours mainly focused on September. Candidates who can speak Mandarin Chinese are highly preferred, as the role involves supporting Chinese students arriving in the UK.
This role requires excellent customer service skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming experience for Chinese students arriving in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide airport pick-up and drop-off services for international students across London airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, and London City Airport.
* Welcome students upon arrival and provide professional customer service throughout the journey.
* Assist students with luggage loading and unloading when required.
* Ensure students arrive safely and on time at their accommodation, university, or designated location.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable company vehicle at all times.
* Carry out regular vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Support vehicle maintenance arrangements, servicing, repairs, MOT preparation, and annual inspections.
* Manage daily driving schedules and communicate effectively with the operations team.
* Provide occasional support with transport arrangements and company errands.
About you
*Minimum 3 years of full UK Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
* Experience in passenger transport, chauffeur services, or private hire is preferred.
* Strong communication and customer service skills (experience dealing with airport-related procedures is an advantage).
* Good knowledge of London roads, airports, and surrounding areas.
* Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
* Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and airport peak periods.
* Good spoken Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred.
Schedule
Monday-Friday: 9:00-18:00: 8 hours shift
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
