Role: Area Sales Manager – USA

Location: Houston, Texas (Field / Remote)

We are looking for a high-performing USA Sales Specialist to drive our commercial growth from the energy capital of the world—Houston, Texas.

Reporting directly to our Territory Manager, you will serve as our dedicated boots-on-the-ground technical sales expert. If you are a seasoned sales hunter in the valve industry who loves closing high-value deals and has the engineering background to command respect in the field, this is your stage.

We’re a profitable, privately owned, and fast-moving company looking for talented individuals to join our team and deliver our strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do

Drive Revenue: Own the US sales pipeline—hunting for new opportunities, following up on leads, and expanding key accounts across oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy sectors.
Be the Face of Oliver Valves: Serve as our primary technical sales expert and brand champion across the US market.
Solve Engineering Challenges: Work directly with client engineers, project teams, and procurement to spec and deliver high-performance valve solutions.
Support Distributor Networks: Support & empower locally established distributors and their salesforce to drive regional growth and maximise market reach.
Build Client Relationships: Establish long-term, trusted partnerships with local EPCs, OEMs, and end-users.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with international sales leadership and technical teams to win complex bids. Coordinate projects locally that impact the world.

What We’re Looking For

Valve Industry Expertise: Proven track record selling high-performance valves in the energy sector.
Engineering Mindset: A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical field) is strongly preferred.
Hunter Mentality: Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to open doors and close deals.
Houston Based: Centrally located to cover local majors and travel domestic territory as needed.
