Job Purpose
To plan, deliver and assess outstanding OCR Cambridge Technical Digital Media programmes at Levels 2 and 3 for learners aged 16–19, including learners with SEND, EHCPs, ASC and SEMH needs, preparing them for employment, apprenticeships and higher education.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging teaching across OCR Cambridge Technical Levels 2 and 3 Digital Media.
- Plan schemes of work, lessons and learning resources.
- Teach practical and theoretical media production including photography, video, audio, graphic design, animation, web design, digital publishing and social media.
- Assess coursework and prepare learners for external assessments.
- Maintain accurate learner progress and assessment records.
- Support learners with SEND alongside Learning Support Assistants.
- Maintain media studios, IT equipment and software.
- Develop employer links, live projects and work experience opportunities.
- Participate in quality assurance, standardisation, CPD and curriculum development.
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
Person Specification
- Essential: Degree or Level 5 qualification in Digital Media or related subject.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one.
- Experience in digital media production and vocational teaching or training.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent.
- Desirable: OCR Cambridge Technical delivery, FE experience, TAQA/IQA qualifications and SEND experience.

Pay: £29,700.00-£34,000.00 per year
