About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Assembly Operator to join our Workshop / Production team.
In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing the production and quality of our new equipment, ensuring machinery is built and tested to the highest standards and in line with customer requirements.
You’ll also have the opportunity to support new and existing development projects, working closely with the Technical and wider teams to help improve products, processes and production efficiency.

We are the sole manufacturer of the DOFF superheated water cleaning system and the TORC cleaning system, alongside a range of other specialist products and equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Build machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and to a high standard.
- Test completed equipment to ensure it is ready for customer delivery.
- Plan upcoming build requirements with the office team based on current sales and production needs.
- Monitor and replenish stock of new equipment as required.
- Keep production procedures up to date and communicate any changes to relevant office staff.
- Support the warehouse operative in monitoring incoming stock for defects and quality issues.
- Help implement changes to stock locations and introduce new stock management processes.
- Provide training, guidance and practical assistance to employees working on new builds and testing.
- Support the Technical Department with product development and safety testing.
- Assist with stock control when required.
- Maintain a safe, organised and tidy production environment.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and company standards are consistently maintained.
- Provide support to other departments when required.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong practical background in both mechanical and electrical assembly, with the ability to fault-find and solve problems effectively.
You will ideally have:
- Strong mechanical and electrical assembly experience.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a thorough, organised approach to your work.
- The ability to plan, prioritise, coordinate and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Effective time-management and self-management skills.
- The flexibility to respond to changing priorities and working requirements.
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- The ability to adapt confidently to different working environments and circumstances.

Working Environment
The majority of your work will be based in our workshop / production environment, where you’ll be closely involved in the assembly, testing and development of equipment.
