What we do.
This particular role is at our site based in Harrow and specialises in making chilled pizzas. The site employs around 780 people, and with being situated in North London, good public transport links are available.
About the role.
We manufacture a wide range of high-quality chilled products for our dedicated customers at our sites. Our production lines are non-stop, so you’ll be kept busy creating our products. Working right at the heart of our fast-paced, high-pressured environment, you’ll enjoy plenty of variety, be encouraged to find where your strengths lie and supported to achieve your full potential.
Despatch Team Leader - Nights duties may include:
You will perform competence assessments for new operators and ensure correct allocation of skills to tasks
Maintain training requirements whilst encouraging a ‘positive’ H&S behaviour at all times
Complete line ‘start up’ checks – understand and maintain strict temperature controls and have HACCP awareness
Carry out efficient shift handovers/briefs to incoming team leader informing of any issues
You will maintain a detailed understanding of equipment and systems in order to diagnose problems and make decisions
Manage incidents following set criteria
Ensure stock is maintained and waste capture is carried out accurately
About you.
You will ideally have experience of a similar role in a food manufacturing environment and be used to working at a fast pace
Passion for service delivery and the ability to work calmly under pressure whilst motivating others towards achievement
Results driven and motivated to lead a team to achieve output targets and KPI's
Quality minded with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Previous Team Leader/Line Leader/Supervisory/Stand-In experience is desirable OR essential
Capable of working on own initiative with the ability and confidence to make decisions
