You believe that big ideas inspire the execution. That design and writing build deeper meaning and more distinctive brands when they work together, rather than when they work apart. You bring exquisite craft to the tiny details, and a visual flair to the bigger picture. Your portfolio defies conventions. And despite all of that, you believe your best work is still ahead of you.

About the role

You’ll be at the heart of the creative process. Generating ideas, exploring possibilities, and developing design solutions that help our clients stand apart. Collaborating closely with strategists, writers, designers, creative technologists and client partners to make the work stronger at every step. Bringing a strong point of view, exceptional design craft, and the confidence to explore unfamiliar territory to push the ideas further. From early strategic thinking through to final execution.

You’ll take ownership of significant parts of projects across brand creation, rebrands and other creative challenges. Our work spans the digital and physical, and you’ll help create work that is both creatively ambitious and commercially effective across a wide range of applications.

You’ll thrive on creative challenges, actively testing, refining and elevating ideas. You’ll help raise the standard of design across the agency through your craft, your curiosity and your generosity. Inspiring clients and colleagues to be braver, and creating work that creates different realities.

You’re actively seeking out new ideas, cultural influences, tools, and technologies. We don’t expect you to know everything, but we do expect a mindset that is curious, ambitious, collaborative, and unwilling to settle for average.

From £50,000 depending on experience

Step 1

Step 2

Getting to know you

If you’ve caught our attention, we’d love to jump on a call. This will be with a member of the People & Culture Team. A chance for us to get to know you better and understand what it is that excites you most.

Step 3

In-person interview

At this stage, you’ll meet with a relevant Team Head or Manager at our London studio. Giving you a feel for Ragged Edge in the flesh. Here we want to catch a glimpse of how you think and your approach to work, so please bring along some examples to speak through.

Step 4

Final creative share

Following a phone check-in and briefing, you’ll be invited back to our studio to present your creative share. This is an opportunity to take us deeper into your thought processes. As well as the successes and missteps that got you here. Collaboration is key, so we’ll invite 5 or 6 members of different teams to join you in the room too.
