Multi-Skilled Tradesperson – TW Postcode Area Surrey Refurbs (Dorking) Ltd | Self-employed / sub-contract | Immediate start
Surrey Refurbs is a specialist social housing contractor delivering damp and mould remediation, disrepair works, and occupied/void property refurbishment across London and the South. We’re looking for an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson to cover work in and around the TW postcodes.
THE ROLE Occupied and void property works in social housing — patch plastering, joinery, tiling, decorating, minor repairs and making good Damp and mould remediation using our three-stage treatment system (full training given) Working directly in residents’ homes, keeping appointments and leaving properties clean and safe Completing job sheets, photos and sign-off records on a mobile device
WHAT YOU’LL NEED Proven multi-trade experience, ideally in social housing or occupied properties Own van and full set of tools — non-negotiable Full UK driving licence Good spoken and written English — you’ll be liaising directly with residents, following written RAMS and method statements, and completing job reports Reliable, presentable and comfortable working unsupervised
CARDS AND TICKETS A CSCS card is not essential to start. If you don’t hold one, you’ll be expected to obtain a valid CSCS card during or immediately after a short trial period — we’ll point you to the test and application process. Asbestos Awareness training is also required and can be arranged through us.
