Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our commercial premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are tidy, sanitary, and presentable, supporting a professional and welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our organisation through high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

Duties

Clean and sanitise all office spaces, including desks, chairs, tables, and communal areas
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Clean windows, glass partitions, and internal surfaces as required
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials
Ensure washrooms are hygienic and well-maintained at all times
Follow health and safety procedures during cleaning activities
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards
Good physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks effectively
