Job Description
CLEANX is looking for a reliable and professional Pressure Washing Operative / Technician to join our team.
This role is focused specifically on pressure washing patios, driveways and other hard outdoor surfaces at residential and commercial properties across London and surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for travelling to customer sites, setting up pressure washing equipment, assessing the surface to be cleaned and completing each job safely and to a high professional standard.
Previous pressure washing experience is preferred. Candidates who have experience using professional pressure washing equipment, surface cleaners and related equipment will be particularly suited to the role.
You must have a full UK driving licence and your own reliable vehicle, as you will be required to travel independently between customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Carry out professional pressure washing at customer properties.
- Pressure wash patios, driveways, pathways and other suitable hard surfaces.
- Set up and operate pressure washing machines safely and correctly.
- Use surface cleaners, pressure washing lances, hoses and related equipment.
- Assess surfaces before pressure washing to determine the appropriate cleaning method.
- Remove dirt, moss, algae, grime and surface staining using pressure washing equipment.
- Ensure the correct pressure and technique is used for different surfaces.
- Protect surrounding property before beginning pressure washing.
- Avoid damage to walls, doors, windows, vehicles, plants and surrounding areas.
- Complete pressure washing jobs to a high and consistent standard.
- Rinse and clean the work area thoroughly after completing each job.
- Take before-and-after photographs where required.
- Communicate professionally with customers while on site.
- Keep pressure washing equipment clean and properly maintained.
- Report equipment faults, property damage or safety concerns immediately.
- Travel independently between customer sites across London and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Previous pressure washing experience preferred.
- Experience using pressure washing machines is highly desirable.
- Experience cleaning patios and driveways using pressure washing equipment is preferred.
- Comfortable using professional pressure washers and surface cleaners.
- Good understanding of how different surfaces should be pressure washed.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Own reliable vehicle required for travelling to customer sites.
- Confident travelling independently across London and surrounding areas.
- Able to work independently at customer properties.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling pressure washing equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Able to follow pressure washing procedures and safety guidance.
