Full job description

We’re looking for a Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join ateb and help keep our homes safe, compliant, and working as they should. This will be on a temporary basis initially until April 2027. You’ll be on site, carrying out repairs, servicing systems, and supporting installations, ensuring every job is done properly and to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone who is a qualified ACS Gas Operative. An OFTEC qualification would be an advantage, and any experience with renewable technologies, such as air source heat pumps (ASHP), would be welcomed.

What you’ll be doing:

Carrying out heating and plumbing repairs, servicing, and installations
Diagnosing issues and delivering effective solutions
Working to achieve a first-time fix wherever possible
Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Supporting planned maintenance and improvement programmes

You’ll need to be confident in your trade, organised in your approach, and committed to delivering a great service every time.

Temporary role initially until April 2027

Full-time: 37 hours per week + out of hours rota

Salary: £35K

Closing date: Sunday 13th September 2026

Interview date: Thursday 24th September 2026
