What is required from you?

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
Opportunities Available:
Kitchen Assistant to work 40 hours per week - each shift is 10 hours, 4 shifts a week to include working alternative weekends
Bank Kitchen Assistant - zero hour contract
Combination of shift times; 7.30am - 5.30pm and 9.30am - 7.30pm
No set shifts, flexible rota

A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant

Support the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensuring a good understanding of various dietary requirements and allergens
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols.
Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time.
Offer support, communication and engagement to the residents.

About You

You don't have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn. We'd like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to show empathy to the needs of others.
