Due to growth, we now have an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

A bit about what you’ll be doing:
- Ensure workflow of a product is to schedule by following the published production plan
- Complete repair, maintenance, manufacturing, test and installation tasks
- Manufacture items as drawn to ensure commercial accuracy and maintain efficiency
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and report to Supervisor / Foreman / Production Manager
- Document approved changes in the job packs including red pen amendments
- Operate any vehicle or company equipment in a safe manner and in line with any published SOPs
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Assist Supervisor / Foreman / Production Manager to participate in an efficient workshop that complies with regulatory requirements, ensure equipment is calibrated safe
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
What we are looking for:
- Level 3 mechanically qualified
- Proven workshop experience
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Proven mechanical background in commercial/Industrial installations
- Experience with various pipework, Stainless Steel, PVC, Poly Prop
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, layout, P&ID and General Assembly
- Ability to pressure test own work
- English literacy
- A proactive approach to health & safety
- Familiarity with tools and test equipment
