Overview

Join our dynamic fitness team as a Reformer Pilates Instructor and inspire clients to achieve their wellness goals through engaging, safe, and effective Pilates sessions. In this role, you will lead group and individual classes utilizing specialized reformer equipment, fostering a motivating environment that promotes strength, flexibility, and mind-body connection. Your expertise will empower clients to transform their fitness routines while ensuring proper technique and safety at all times. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for movement and health with a vibrant community of fitness enthusiasts.

Duties

Lead engaging Reformer Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring all participants receive personalized attention and modifications as needed
Demonstrate correct form, technique, and breathing patterns to maximize benefits and prevent injuries
Provide clear instructions and demonstrate exercises effectively on reformer machines and other Pilates equipment
Monitor participants throughout the session, offering guidance, corrections, and encouragement to maintain proper alignment and safety
Prepare class plans that incorporate diverse exercises targeting core strength, flexibility, posture, and overall well-being
Maintain a clean, organized studio environment by sanitizing equipment before and after classes
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that motivates clients to stay committed to their fitness journey

Experience

Proven experience teaching Reformer Pilates classes in a professional setting with a diverse client base
Background in sports coaching or physical training that demonstrates your ability to motivate and instruct effectively
Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to Pilates movements, injury prevention, and safe practice techniques
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain exercises and provide constructive feedback
Ability to adapt sessions for different fitness levels and individual needs while maintaining high energy levels throughout classes
