The North York Moors Trust is growing and as part of that, we are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our fundraising and campaign work.
This role will be central to diversifying our income: strengthening our corporate partnerships, deepening relationships with individual supporters, and turning our work into campaigns that encourage more people to support us. In this role, you will have real scope to shape how we grow, working closely with our Executive Director and with backing from a supportive Board.
Purpose of the Role:
The Corporate and Major Donor Fundraiser will lead the Trust's efforts to secure unrestricted funding from businesses, major donors, and philanthropic supporters. Working closely with the Executive Director, Trustees, External Funding Manager, and project teams, the postholder will identify funding opportunities, develop relationships, create compelling propositions and secure support that enables the Trust to grow its portfolio of work and impact.
The role will also support the development of the Trust's individual giving programme, helping to improve donor engagement, stewardship and supporter journeys. Grant fundraising is led separately by an External Funding Manager and is not the primary focus of this role.
