Full job description

Description

DMC Healthcare is seeking skilled and dedicated Audiologists to join our team on a self-employed basis, working at Humber & North Yorkshire / Lincolnshire ICB. You’ll be providing a Audiometry tests / Hearing Aid fittings service for NHS patients. If you are passionate about audiology and eager to make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

Pure Tone Audiometry: Conduct precise and accurate hearing tests.
Rehabilitation Advice: Offer guidance to patients and carers.
Diagnostic Procedures: Perform tests during ENT clinics for adults and older children.
Professional Development: Maintain and document your growth.
Audiometry tests / Hearing Aid fittings

Duties to include:

Conduct first assessments following guidelines and protocols.
Develop and implement individual patient treatment plans.
Provide advice on assistive listening devices and refer to other agencies as needed.
Perform timely diagnostic tests during ENT clinics.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient notes and information.
Understand patient pathways and maintain accurate waiting list data.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Knowledge, skills and expertise:

Relevant degree in Audiology or equivalent with completed clinical placements
Experience with microsuction (desirable but not essential)
Excellent verbal communication skills
Flexibility to travel across the Lincolnshire area
