Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to upsell services effectively using time management systems. A knowledge of vehicle parts is an imperative part of job role.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their service needs.
- Been accurate in quoting/invoicing/stock ordering and managing vehicle bookings.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required for vehicles To customers.
- Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely service delivery.
- Keep the service area organised cleaned and presentable at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive environment.
- Strong upselling skills with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with customers.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
- Valid full UK driving license
