Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Engineer Assistent to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining our facilities and equipment. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and your knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Repair or replace faulty components using welding techniques, electrical experience, and mechanical knowledge to restore equipment functionality swiftly.
- Program, monitor, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes.
- Read and interpret schematics to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Supervise maintenance activities, coordinate with team members, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all operations.
- Lead small teams or projects, providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, machining, or similar repair techniques.
- Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and programming.
- Excellent maintenance skills combined with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, task delegation, and performance management.
- Customer service mindset with effective communication skills in English to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities that motivate teams, promote safety standards, and drive operational excellence.
