Berkshire Healthcare have an exciting opportunity f or an experienced Band 5 Administrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based across our west localities for 22.5 hours per week . If you thrive on variety this is a role you should consider as you will have to travel between sites , you will receive generous mileage allowance to facilitate this element of the role. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, who are proactive in ensuring a high standard of service within MSK Physio across Berkshire.
This role gives you the opportunity to take a part in developing and shaping how we effectively manage our service and administration teams . The role is suitable for someone who can coordinate work effectively and provide support, motivation, and guidance to other team members. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise and organise a varied workload , and balance team/service needs.
This is a rewarding role, working alongside a committed and friendly team, in a continuously evolving service where you will have daily interaction with patients, administration colleagues and clinical staff.
The postholder will facilitate the effective operation of MSK Physiotherapy service by providing organisational, administrative and secretarial support to the MSK Physiotherapy Senior management team and the admin teams .
The post holder will provide leadership and direct line management to Band 3 and 4 Administrators.
Working with the senior leadership team you’ll support service improvement as well as implementation and review of administrative related policies and processes.
The postholder is expected to act on their own initiative and in collaboration with other Admin Lead s to ensure the effective running of the service and admin team s , prioritising their own workload as required .
The postholder is expected to liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, external organisations and the public, dealing with confidential information in an appropriate manner .

The “must haves” for you to be considered for this role:
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an NHS administrative role
Demonstrable experience of coordinating administrative processes within a busy office and/or care environment
Experience of supervision of staff including absence and performance management
Excellent organisational skills with ability to proactively plan and prioritise own and others’ workload
