Digital Marketing Account Executive

Meltham, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire | £27,000 per year | 35-hour week | Flexitime | Free Parking

We’re hiring an organised and proactive Digital Marketing Account Executive to support the day-to-day delivery of client accounts and manage paid digital campaigns across Google Ads and Meta.

This is a hands-on agency role with plenty of variety. You’ll work closely with our Account Director, Creative Director, web team and wider delivery team, helping to keep client communication clear, projects organised and digital campaigns performing.

You could be preparing for a client meeting, updating tasks in Asana, coordinating creative work, reviewing PPC performance or producing a monthly client report.

Working pattern and flexibility:

35 hours across five days, Monday to Friday

Seven working hours per day with 30 mins unpaid lunch

Core hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00–15:00

Agreed flexible weekly start and finish times outside core hours

This is an office-based role at our premises in Meltham, West Yorkshire. Working hours may occasionally need to be adjusted around client meetings, campaign launches and wider business requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Client Account Delivery:

Support the Account Director with the day-to-day management of client accounts
Build positive and professional relationships with clients
Act as a day-to-day contact for agreed accounts and projects
Respond to routine client queries clearly and promptly
Keep clients informed about progress, deadlines and next steps
Prepare agendas, reports, presentations and meeting documents
Attend occasional client meetings, take notes and follow up agreed actions
Gather information, feedback, imagery and approvals from clients
Coordinate tasks and deadlines across the creative, content and web teams
Maintain accurate project information within our task-management systems
Identify potential issues or delays early and escalate them when necessary
Assist with monthly reporting and wider account administration

Digital Campaign Management:

Set up, manage and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads and Meta
Carry out keyword, audience and competitor research
Build campaigns in line with agreed client objectives and budgets
Create, upload and review advertising copy and campaign assets
Monitor campaign spend, performance and lead quality
Review search terms and manage negative keyword lists
Refine targeting, audiences, bidding and campaign structures
Carry out regular campaign optimisation to improve performance
Work with the creative team to brief and coordinate new advertising assets
Support conversion-tracking checks and flag technical issues
Produce clear performance reports and practical recommendations
Explain campaign results to clients in an accessible and confident way
Stay informed about relevant developments across Google Ads, Meta and digital marketing

What We’re Looking For:

Demonstrable experience managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns
Practical experience using Meta Ads Manager
A good understanding of paid search, paid social and digital campaign reporting
Confidence working directly with clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
A proactive approach to problem-solving and campaign improvement
The ability to interpret campaign data and turn it into clear recommendations
Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Experience using project-management platforms such as Asana would be beneficial
Google Ads certifications would be advantageous but are not essential
Agency experience would be beneficial but is not essential
