Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to step up, shape clinical practice, and build a senior career in a specialist setting where your expertise makes a real difference? We are looking for an ambitious and clinically experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in paediatric complex needs who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow into a senior clinical role. We are a highly specialised assessment and treatment centre supporting children with complex and profound communication and neurological difficulties which include cerebral palsy, acquired and traumatic brain injury and ASD. Our supportive multidisciplinary team includes occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and neuro-physiotherapists. We are a purpose-driven, family-oriented practice that prioritises integrity and excellence above all else, and you will have the drive to develop and implement innovative solutions for your clients.

You will work dynamically with families and schools in a variety of specialist and mainstream settings, with the freedom to manage your own diary and work in a way that suits your lifestyle. Your remit will include:

Conducting thorough assessments and implementing individualised treatment plans that reflect each child’s unique strengths and challenges
Providing bespoke demonstration/training to family, carers and educational colleagues
Creating programmes to maximise independence, facilitate self-regulation and optimise engagement in activities at home, in school and the wider community
Working collaboratively with an established MDT to deliver joint-working solutions

You must:

Have experience in Ayres Sensory Integration
Possess the drive to achieve the utmost for every client under often challenging circumstances
Have a warm, child-centred approach to therapy
Be prepared to take an active role in goal planning, contribute to service development, and help mentor junior colleagues as your seniority grows
Be confident to express clinical opinion and advocate for clients in MDT/EHCP meetings
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Have the ability to write clear and concise reports for EHCPs, tribunals and appeals
Be able to work independently and manage your time effectively

Essential Criteria:

Bsc or Msc in Occupational Therapy
Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
Registered member of RCOT
Driver’s License and own vehicle (travel and mileage costs reimbursed)

We offer a full range of flexible contract options—employed, self-employed, part-time, or term-time only—so you can shape your role around your life, not the other way around. We are happy to discuss a bespoke arrangement at interview.

Pay: £65.00-£85.00 per hour
