Job Title: Full time Support Worker

Salary: £15.04 + Regular Sleep-ins at £45 per Sleep-in

Hours per week: Full time – 40 hours a week

Summary:

The Outlook Foundation is a charity specialising in training and supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, to be as independent as possible and live their best life.

We support individuals to work, develop their education, life skills, health awareness, decision making and social skills.

We are currently looking to recruit one full time Support Worker, working across all the 4 sites.

Vacancy Details:

As a forward-thinking charity, we need dynamic, committed and flexible Support Workers to teach life skills in a fun and engaging manner.

The role is 40 hours a week with a mix of shifts, i.e. 7.00am – 5.00pm, 12.30pm – 22.30pm.

Each day is different. If you have a caring, compassionate nature and a passion for educating and empowering others, then this role is right for you.

We aim to support individuals to develop their independence skills and move on into the community (if that is their desire), several of the tenants now have their own flats and continue to be supported by the team.

The right candidate will be able to:

· Offer our tenants person-centred support in doing the things they enjoy and in making choices and decisions.

· Devise and support tenants to develop their support plans, to learn life skills and in having their voices heard.

· Encourage and inspire them to try new things, to grow and develop to their full potential.

· Demonstrate a commitment to Equality and Diversity.
