Junior Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

Location: (Barnsley/Hybrid)
Hours: Part-Time (Flexible)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team on a part-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career designer to develop their skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working closely with our Senior Design team and wider Marketing department, you will help produce high-quality visual communications across the Lifetime brands.

The role offers exposure to a wide variety of design projects, including social media content, digital advertising, branded documents, website graphics, presentations, print collateral and display materials. You’ll play an important role in maintaining brand consistency while bringing fresh creative ideas to the team.

Key Responsibilities

· Create engaging visual content for social media, digital advertising and marketing campaigns.

· Design branded documents, brochures, reports, presentations and marketing collateral.

· Produce website graphics and other digital assets.

· Support the creation of display materials, exhibition assets and internal communications.

· Assist with motion graphics, video content and multimedia projects where required.

· Ensure all work aligns with established brand guidelines and visual standards.

· Collaborate with colleagues across Marketing and the wider business to deliver creative projects.

· Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Contribute creative ideas and support the continuous development of the Lifetime brands.

· Essential Requirements

· Recent graduate or equivalent commercial experience in a graphic design role, including placements, internships or freelance work.

· BA (Hons), HND or HNC in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Design Communication or a related discipline.

· Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating creativity, typography, layout, branding and design thinking.

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and the ability to create polished presentation materials.

· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to apply and maintain brand guidelines consistently.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

· Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate, receive feedback and develop professionally.

Desirable Skills

· Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro for basic video editing and motion graphics.

· Experience using Canva, Affinity software or Microsoft Word to produce branded content.

· Familiarity with designing for digital channels, including social media and websites.

· Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.

· Basic knowledge of website content management systems and creating assets for web use.
