Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding and fabrication skills, with experience working on various materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects in a dynamic environment, utilising a range of CNC Machines
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on structural and sheet metal. (TIG Welding experience in Stainless Stee & Aluminum would be a benefit)
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components.
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations using mathematical skills to ensure precise fitting of parts.
- Assemble fabricated components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Experience
- Familiarity with welding techniques specific to welding standards.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal working equipment.
- Experience in Use of CNC Machines would be a benefit but not essential (Fiber Laser, Plasma Cutter & Press brakes)

Pay: £18.00-£19.50 per hour
