About the Role

SIRM is looking for a motivated, organised, and enthusiastic Marketing & Operations Intern to join our team for a summer internship until September.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical, hands-on experience across marketing, events, procurement, business operations, and project coordination. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to live projects, and play an active role in supporting the organisation's day-to-day operations and growth.

Whether you're interested in marketing, business management, operations, or event planning, this internship will provide valuable experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing & Operations Intern, you will support a range of business activities, including:

Assisting with inventory management and stock monitoring.
Supporting supply chain and procurement processes.
Coordinating the purchase of office supplies and event materials.
Assisting with the oversight of building works and operational projects.
Creating and scheduling content across social media platforms.
Supporting digital marketing and content marketing campaigns.
Assisting with event promotion, branding, and on-the-day event coordination.
Building relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organisations.
Supporting marketing initiatives and lead generation campaigns.
Assisting with administrative tasks, reporting, and project coordination.
Providing general support to the marketing and operations teams as required.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Interested in marketing, business operations, events, or business management.
Organised, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Familiar with social media platforms and basic Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.
Eager to learn and develop new skills in a professional environment.

Previous professional experience is not essential. We value a positive attitude, reliability, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
