Ward are currently recruiting for an experienced Crane Driver to join our team in Ilkeston. You will be part of a hardworking team of employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year.
Hours
Between 0500 and 1700, 40 + hours per week Monday to Friday.
Please note that weekend work may be required. Overtime will be paid at a higher rate.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience working as a Crane Driver/Plant Operative and ideally within the waste/scrap industry. They will be self motivated, hardworking, team players who are able to work occasional weekends as required.
Duties will include:
- Operate crane and other equipment in a safe, competent manner
- Monitor materials and report and non-acceptable material items
- Reform material pile to ensure most effective grab volume
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
