Guardforce Security Services Ltd, is an Approved Contractor with the SIA and was established in December 1993.

Vacancy Type - SECURITY OFFICER - GATEHOUSE DUTIES - MOBILE and Foot PATROLS

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Guardforce team at Thurleigh MK44 post code for a confident, well mannered and professional individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.

The job requirements:

SIA license essential.
To comply with company fleet insurance, security officer must be at least 25 years old and hold a full, clean UK manual driving licence for at least two years.
Excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills
General security gatehouse duties with a professional approach.
Dealing with clients, deliveries, staff, visitors, and contractors.
Incident response and good incident report writing skills.
To respond and assist in dealing promptly with emergencies on site.
Perimeter Patrols in the official vehicle.
CCTV Monitoring and maintaining a detailed log.
Flexible and reliable approach - work on shift/rota basis.
Excellent oral and written communication.
The shift pattern (Day, Night & weekend)
Applicants must have their own vehicle or live in close proximity to Thurleigh (MK44), as shift start times are not compatible with public transport schedules.

Shift Times:

Day shift: 07:00 start
Night shift: 19:00 start

Shift times may vary based on operational requirements.

The ideal candidate

Excellent English speaking and writing skills a must.
Reliable, effective and helpful team player.
Excellent time management and flexible approach to changes.
Must have own vehicle to reach the site or live in close proximity to Thurleigh MK44.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY.
