Roles & Responsibilities

Build robust mechanical sub-assemblies against various drawings
Mount internal components and hardware to control panels
Read, interpret and work from mechanical drawings
Safely operate various manual hand and power tools
Manage workload to meet time sensitive production targets
Flag material shortages or drawing queries immediately
Maintain clean and tidy work areas following health and safety policies

Requirements

Mechanical assembly experience preferred but not essential

Desirable

Practical, hands-on can-do attitude
Good Communication skills to explain differences within issued drawings
High attention to detail with a quality over quantity mindset
Confident with using various hand tools such as drills, torque tools
Strong understanding in reading mechanical blueprints and layout drawings
Strong understanding of industrial workshop practices
