We're looking for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead and develop our Bodyshop operation at our Hull Reconditioning Centre — one of the most dynamic and fast-paced automotive operations in the region.
This is a genuine leadership role with real scope to make your mark. You'll own the full Bodyshop operation — from safety standards and quality performance to team development and continuous improvement — and you'll have the autonomy to drive it forward your way.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day Bodyshop operation, ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets are consistently met
- Managing and developing your team, building a high-performance culture built on accountability and pride in the work
- Owning key KPIs including vehicle lead time, efficiency, right-first-time quality and rework levels
- Driving lean and continuous improvement across the department
- Implementing clear visual management and performance controls
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver operational excellence
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in automotive Bodyshop operations — Accident Repair, Cosmetic
- Repair or Insurance Repair environments all relevant
- Proven track record in managing and leading Bodyshop teams
- Strong understanding of health & safety in a Bodyshop environment
- A natural leader — someone who gets the best out of people and builds genuine team performance
- Hands-on approach with a sharp eye for quality and detail
Desirable: ATA Accreditation | IMI Qualification | IOSH Managing Safely | NEBOSH | Lean / CI training
