As our business continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and ambitious organisation.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider operational teams, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the business and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
The Role
The Junior Finance Assistant will provide support across a broad range of finance and administrative functions, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the Finance Department.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent attention to detail and enjoy working within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support processing supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Maintaining accurate supplier account records.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving account queries.
- Assisting with payment runs and cash management activities.
- Processing employee expenses and company credit card transactions.
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider business when required.
- Assist with credit control and overdue debt management.
- Administer weekly timesheet submissions
Essential Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and proactive approach to work.
Desirable Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
