Overview
The Aftersales technician will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair & installation of components in Motorhomes. The role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently and to manufacturer's an industry standards while delivery a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Carry out habitation servicing.
- Diagnose & repair faults across electrical, plumbing, Gas (LPG) body work, cabinetry & appliances.
- Install accessories and upgrades such as solar panels, air conditioning units, replacement batteries etc in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Perform damp checks, water ingress diagnostics and remedial repairs.
- Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturers requirements.
- To carry out tanking & testing on new build Motorhomes.
- Maintain detailed records of all work carried out, parts used & time taken to complete the work.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and handover guidance where required.
Skills
- Experience in vehicle repair preferable with the Motorhome, Caravan or similar leisure vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of 12V/240V electrical, gas (LPG) & water systems.
- Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
- LPG gas certified (ACOPS) & relevant electrical qualification is preferred, although consideration with be given to candidates without this qualification.
- Good problem solver & attention to detail.
- Competent in using diagnostic tools and service documentation.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficiency with hand tools & power tools.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers & team members.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 17:00pm and Friday's 07:30 to 12:45pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
