About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Flooring Operative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the flooring industry. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
Working alongside experienced flooring installers, you will learn how to prepare subfloors and install a variety of flooring products in commercial and residential properties, including vinyl, carpet, safety flooring, LVT, and carpet tiles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting experienced flooring operatives on site
- Preparing floors and work areas for installation
- Learning installation techniques for various flooring products
- Loading, unloading, and handling materials safely
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Keen to learn a skilled trade
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential
