We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team to provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, organised, detail-oriented person with strong troubleshooting abilities, analytical skills and a wealth of technical knowledge. This position will require a high level of commitment, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. The salary is dependent on skills and experience, up to the maximum stated.

Responsibilities:

Answer questions and solve problems for customers regarding product operation.
Analyse problems and solutions and make recommendations for process improvement.
Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Work as part of a team or independently.
Perform testing procedures to determine cause of problem and implement solutions.
Train users on proper operation of equipment.

Ideal Skills:

Virtualisation: Xen Server (XCP), VMWare
VoIP: Asterisk/FreePBX , 3CX, SIP knowledge an advantage
Office 365
Microsoft Licensing, NCE, SPLA
Azure
Strong network design and diagnostics -VPNs, VLANs, Wifi
Commercial awareness
Hardware: Watchguard, Draytek, Dell -Servers and Switches, Yealink, Cisco
Full clean driving license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
