Tidal Training Ltd are national healthcare training providers specialising in Medical and Clinical, Ofqual regulated First Aid, bespoke Mental Health, Learning Disability and Health and Social Care. Our Head Office is based in Cheltenham, supporting our clients UK wide.
To support the continued increase in demand for our training services, we are recruiting 3 qualified trainers with clinical and freelance training and education experience.
Candidates must have a minimum Level 3 Award in Education (or equivalent teaching qualifications).
The geographical areas we are specifically looking at are:
York (North Yorkshire)
Successful candidates will be able to present all required supporting paperwork and be ready to come on board quickly.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Please only apply for this position if you are a qualified healthcare professional and hold a recognised teaching qualification equivalent to a Level 3 Award in Education, C&G 7303 or equivalent.
What is a recognised teaching qualification in the lifelong learning sector? To teach in Further Education (FE), adult/community learning, or the lifelong learning sector in the UK, the standard initial teacher training pathways are different and more specific:
Award in Education and Training – Level 3 (initial stepping stone)
Certificate in Education and Training – Level 4 (basic FE teaching qualification)
Diploma in Education and Training – Level 5 (full FE teaching qualification) — often needed to gain Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status via the Society for Education and Training.
- At least 6 days per month availability is required. (Mon-Friday)
- Ideal candidates will be experienced trainers with excellent administration and organisational skills as we require paperwork to be completed and returned in a timely fashion.
- Essential freelance trainer kit : Laptop, projector (min 2000 Lumens) scanner, extension lead & cover and portable mini speakers. All training course materials are provided.
- Punctuality, reliability, integrity, commitment and high ethical conduct are important to us as is a strong sense of teamwork and the ability to return course paperwork as required after every course.
- For over 11 years, Tidal Training Ltd has worked successfully with flexible and appropriately qualified trainers who can deliver our training courses in a highly professional and engaging manner in all areas of the United Kingdom (apart from North Ireland)
NB. We can not accept applications from individuals running their own training companies, or any individuals suspended or removed from HCPC/NMC Registers.
