The Administrator provides essential administrative support across the business, assisting with communication, record keeping, purchasing, travel arrangements, training coordination, resourcing, and general office administration. The role supports the smooth running of daily operations and ensures key administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.
Role responsibilities
- Undertake general administrative duties to support REM operations and the wider business.
- Work alongside the senior management team to manage and direct incoming emails and telephone calls, taking clear and accurate messages where required.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Arrange hotels and other relevant accommodation using in-house systems and external suppliers.
- Maintain compliance-based training records, ensuring training is booked before expiry dates.
- Support the purchasing function by acting as a buyer for jobs, maintaining the REM contact book, and assisting with the onboarding of new suppliers.
- Order PPE and other overhead-related goods as required.
- Manage customer feedback surveys and take ownership systems.
- Maintain monthly time allocation sheets.
- Work with Operations to coordinate resourcing across the team and assisting with resourcing calls
- Submit and monitor working-away subsistence claims across the team.
- Setting up jobs on Business Central and creating job files.
- Support the Operations Manager in co-ordination of REM calendar.
- Management of asset register and HILTI database for equipment.
- Liaising with Rhodar Waste Manager to co-ordinate waste disposal activities and materials (aggregates) purchasing.
- Management of REM road fleet to ensure compliance with company policy.
- Overseeing inductions for new starters.
