Buckle Up Cowgirl - Bar + Host
The Job
We are looking for enthusiastic Bar & Host Staff to join our team over the summer. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidates.
At B.U.C, Bar + Host staff are the heartbeat of the venue, you’re less of a bartender or host, and more of a social facilitator. This role exists not just to deliver drinks, but to actively create a social, high-energy environment. You are not just serving customers — you are welcoming them into an experience, encouraging conversation, connection, and fun. You’ll be split between serving our signature cocktails and drinks, and being on the floor talking to guests, facilitating games, and overseeing social challenges – you need to be extroverted and always up for a good time, we want this job to be just as much fun for you as it is for customers in the bar.
We pride ourselves on not being drill sergeants, we won’t stop you having fun with customers, and we definitely won’t stop any wild ideas you have. We’re looking for extremely confident, friendly, socially intelligent people who love being around others, enjoy talking to strangers, and take pride in making a room feel alive. This role is hands-on, people-facing, and central to the culture we’re building. You’ll definitely need to be the socialite of your group, always up for a wild time, and always up for making new friends – that’s how you’ll get this pretty dreamy role.
Who you are
We’re looking for extremely sociable, high-energy cowgirls and cowboys with a bit of a wild side. If you’re a social sec, love hosting, or love the exciting nights out, you’ll be a great fit. You’ll love being in the action with customers, playing and hosting games, singing a bit of Dolly Parton, riding the mechanical bull, and all the energy that makes B.U.C nights unforgettable. You’ll want to become a recognisable face both in the bar and on socials, filming videos to get yours and our name out there! Most importantly, you’re someone who can talk to anyone, lift the room, and turn a normal night out into a wild one.
