Duties

Design and decorate cakes with intricate details, themes, and personalized touches to meet customer specifications
Prepare cake layers, fillings, frostings, and decorative elements with precision and consistency
Ensure all baked goods meet food safety standards and quality control guidelines
Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations for design options
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to food safety regulations at all times
Assist in food preparation tasks related to cake production, including measuring ingredients and assembling components
Stay updated on current decorating trends, techniques, and tools to continuously enhance skills

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or culinary arts with a strong portfolio of decorated cakes
Solid knowledge of food production, food preparation, and baking techniques
Familiarity with kitchen safety protocols and food safety standards
Previous restaurant or bakery experience is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity, precision, and a passion for pastry arts
