Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling various metal components with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your welding expertise, mechanical knowledge, and fabrication skills within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to producing high-quality work in a safety-conscious setting.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on diverse materials, including sheet metal and structural components
Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures
Inspect completed welds and fabrications for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high standards of workmanship

Requirements

Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly processes and metalworking techniques
Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics accurately
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
Familiarity with working with sheet metal and performing fabrication tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
