An exciting opportunity at our stunning Hylyfe building in Leicester. With our rapid growth since opening the building, we are looking for a Property Administrator to assist the building manager with day-to-day runnings of the building.
We’re looking for someone with top tier administrative skills, great attention to detail, well spoken, proactive, personable and organised, who’s excited by the mix of property management, front-of-house hospitality and community building. No two days will be the same – and we’re happy to train the right person who brings the right skillset. Here at Hylyfe we are a small, close-knit, professional and hard-working team, and we are looking for the right person to fit the team and grow with us.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be the brains and organisation of Hylyfe Leicester, assisting with administrative tasks on Microsoft packages, keeping up to date with systems and updates throughout the team, assisting residents and helping the building manager with their workload.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Resident Assistance: Help residents with their queries, maintenance requests and general enquiries, maintaining different systems and software's
- Administrative Management: Managing spreadsheets, guides and systems regarding lettings and the residents, producing reports and data, filing and keeping on top of safety systems
- General day-to-day Duties: Helping with property jobs and office work, administrative tasks and organisation
- Residential Lettings: Arrange viewings, oversee move-ins and carry out inventory reports, assist with enquiries and basic lettings administration and housekeeping
- Repairs & Maintenance: Conduct and generate mid-term inspections, check-out reports, and coordinate any ongoing maintenance
- Resident Engagement: Assist the building manager in planning resident socials, seasonal events and community engagement activities

- Experienced in basic administration and Microsoft packages (Word, Excel), Canva, and Adobe is preferred
Working hours:
We are currently considering the role as 21-28 hours, either over part-time days or full days a week. Exact splits, hours and days are negotiable for the right person.
Our general opening hours are:
- Monday–Friday: 9am–5pm
- Weekends: Looking to open on weekends going forward for this role, potentially 10am-2pm on Saturdays & Sundays. Can be discussed for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone part-time in and around these hours. Hours are to be confirmed and we are flexible.
We’re open to adjusting the working pattern for the right person.
