The role
An opportunity has arisen to join our finance team as part-time Sales Ledger. You will be working within a close-knit friendly team to keep the finances of Qualvis running like clockwork.
The Role will be office based at Qualvis HQ in Thurmaston 16 hours a week working a 4-day week (hours are negotiable) With the right person, the role has the potential to increase hours and days and grow the role in the future.
Your primary day-today tasks will include:
· Keep customer Ledgers up to date, matching payments received, chasing outstanding balances to ensure accounts are settled within terms.
· Daily invoicing of shipments
· Raising pro forma invoices when required
· Carry out month end sales ledger process and generate relevant reports
· Securing Credit Insurance for new customers
· Investigate and resolve customer queries
· Assist Head of Finance/HR when required
A bit about you…
First things first, you’ll need to be a great communicator as you’ll be one of the central points for Account Managers, Sales, Dispatch and Purchasing departments when it comes to credit limits and invoicing. With this, a keen eye for detail complete with excellent keyboard, and numeracy skills
Experience of Microsoft Office products would be hugely beneficial and training on our internal systems will be given. A full understanding of a finance function to allow with potential career progression. You’ll be in charge of your own workload, so you’ll need to be proactive and have the ability to prioritise to get the jobs done, alongside winning as a team.
