Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this entry-level role, you will play a vital part in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs to ensure timely service.

Prepare ingredients, garnishes, and basic dishes as directed to meet quality specifications.
Contribute to food production processes by following recipes and portion controls accurately.
Help with serving food to guests when required, ensuring excellent customer service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a strong willingness to learn is key.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience supervising or managing team members is a plus.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
